SoNailicious is a relatively new nail blog but boy has it made an impact in a short time. Maria was already known for her fashion blog Crashing Red when she started SoNailicious at the end of 2012. She combines her love of art and fashion into some amazing nail art. Maria has also released an ebook with tutorials of her nail art.

Tell me a bit about your blog

SoNailicious is a one stop destination to help you to make your nails look fabulous! Nail art, how to-s, nail polish reviews, nail and hand care product recommendations as well as expert tips and the latest nail trends.

How often do you post?

CrashingRed – 3 times p/week
SoNailicious – 4 times p/week

Are you left or right handed?

Right

What’s your best tip for painting your other hand?

Lots of practice

How often do you paint your nails?

It depends. Sometimes several times a day if I get inspired or want to try different nail polishes or nail art designs (and I have some free time), sometimes few times a week, sometimes just once.

How many polishes in your collection?

Not much, only about 300. I’m trying to keep it around that number as I have no much space to store them.

How do you store your polishes?

In empty Ferrero Rocher boxes (haha they are so pretty I thought I’d recycle them rather then just throwing away), organised by colors.

Which brand has the best brush?

OPI

Favorite polish brand?

I can’t pick just one I like too many for different reasons.

Best luxe brand?

Chanel

Best bargain buy?

Ulta3

Favorite color?

Glitter. Can it be a color?

Favorite color combinations?

Anything with gold, ie. blue and gold, green and gold, etc.

Best colour for work?

It depends I guess on type of work and situation. Say, you can’t be a lawyer and wear crazy Zombie nail art or fluoro holo polish, can you?

Best party color?

Depends on outfit you’re wearing. Nudes can work as well as brights.

Best tip for making nail polish last longer?

Dry your nails before painting them, wear great quality base coat and wear top coat.

What’s your favorite nail art trend?

3D!
